• Manufacturing Careers average more than $44,000, not including benefits - the highest in the private sector.

• Every $1.00 in manufacturing goods generates an additional $1.43 worth of additional economic activity - more than any other economic sector.

• Manufacturers are responsible for almost two-thirds of all private sector research and development.

• 63% of all US exports are manufactured goods, which is double the level fo ten years ago.

• Manufacturing reduces costs, raises the standard of living and keeps inflation low.
